Hellish Quart invites the user to have an unforgettable experience as a fencer. Historical design, compliance with the real laws of physics – the most suitable conditions have been created here to feel like a warrior. The events take place in the seventeenth century on the territory of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It is worth noting that the game focuses not on large-scale military campaigns, but on local confrontations with a small number of participants, which allows you to fully demonstrate your mastery of edged weapons.

The gameplay of Hellish Quart assumes realism thanks to ragdoll physics. The results of collisions between characters are determined by their location in space and the characteristics of the strikes inflicted. Plausible fights include attacking strikes, defensive blocks, counterattacks, and rushes. There are also alternative techniques that allow you to deal damage from a distance. The disadvantage of this kind of combat is the risk of losing balance and the opponent going on an aggressive offensive.

To defeat the opposing side, you must deal lethal damage three times. At the same time, the protagonist needs to stand on his own two feet. Be sure to master the intricacies of blocking. The damage depends on the types of blows: if you are slashed in the limbs, there is a chance of survival, but a saber flying into the head entails dire consequences.
