HITMAN 3 is already the eighth project released as part of the main series and the third, complementing the list of newest stories about the bald killer. But despite the number in the name, this is only a nominal part, which in reality simply gives access to new cards. These are locations from different parts of the globe, ranging from one of the largest cities in China to a winery in Mendoza. The gameplay basis has remained virtually unchanged, with only minor adjustments added.

The signature disguise feature has not disappeared from HITMAN III. As before, Agent 47 is able to take on the appearance of cooks, security guards, cleaners, bartenders and other persons located in a specific location. This greatly simplifies the task, because the killer remains undetected longer. It is important to consider that although there are only 6 levels, each of them is perceived as a separate story. For example, the mission to the Dartmoor estate is literally imbued with a detective atmosphere, especially considering that the hero takes on the guise of a private detective. Once at a location, you can spend many hours examining each room, searching for evidence and clues, discovering hidden rooms and other things that precede the completion of the task.

Regardless of the location and the number of hostile people, in Hitman 3 you can independently choose the method of eliminating the target. Kill everyone openly, remove the guards from the shadows, hiding all the bodies, or not resort to using the standard arsenal at all – it’s up to the player to decide. Branded pistols and a noose are always available, but there are many additional items in the locations, including poison, explosives, construction tools, and more. Each task is accompanied by a briefing, where during an animated insert the gamer is brought up to date, explaining the situation.
