Survival in How to Survive 2 will allow players to find themselves in the state of Louisiana, where they need to fight annoying zombies. The events that took place in the previous part in Los Risos are gaining momentum, and infection with the virus continues to turn people into terrible monsters. The game is an action-survival game with a top-down view, where you take control of a lone hero and set up a camp or search for shelter. He will go out to talk with local residents and an assistant who will guide users during the passage.

The main task in How to Survive 2 is to find resources, food, water and weapons, which will help gamers out during survival. The game has single and multiplayer modes, designed for co-op for up to 4 people in one group (you can invite a total of 16 participants to one session). Each participant will be able to influence the development of the base and do useful things: searching for provisions or defending allies from attacking zombies. Gamers also have access to a storage box, inventory, and crafting/survival/management instructions.

Players will also be able to visit individual test scenarios (Kovak's Trials), visiting unique locations: the Mississippi River, the French district in New Orleans, etc. During the adventure, the heroes will gain experience and upgrade their abilities, specialization and combat skills. You will be able to craft tools, equipment, armor and weapons using the found components and parts. It will be possible to create about 100 items and upgrades for the character. Users will be able to equip the camp with barricades, traps, barriers and workshops in order to successfully repel enemy attacks.
