IN How to Survive the gamer will literally learn the basics of survival. Although this project has a concept similar to some of its analogues, it offers several new features that diversify the gameplay. The plot is simple – in a certain area there has been an outbreak of a dangerous virus that turns people into the walking dead. The player takes on the role of a lone survivor who must do everything possible to preserve his own life.

In terms of gameplay mechanics, How to Survive does not show anything special. Moving in three-dimensional space, the hero explores locations, destroying zombies with available weapons and inspecting the surrounding areas for the presence of useful things. The map of the in-game world itself is small, but due to the constant influx of opponents and the presence of small areas available for exploration, new interactive segments appear. The territory itself is an archipelago of 4 islands, which is literally teeming with creatures. But besides them, there are also several survivors here who want to escape from here. To implement the plan, you need to collect the missing parts for the plane and then get away to hell. The story campaign itself is designed for no more than 6 hours of play time. The arsenal of weapons is varied and will allow you to use different approaches in destroying the dead. But it is important to change the next barrel in time, because, for example, a shotgun will be ineffective against enemies in bulletproof vests and helmets. Crafting and the pumping system also contribute, because by collecting seemingly useless things, you can turn them into explosives or a weapon module. Although, even despite the presence of such options, the process of shooting zombies is not particularly diverse.
