Human Madness is a multiplayer first-person shooter where players fight each other in closed and vast locations using modern weapons. More than 11 types of firearms are available in the gameplay with unique characteristics such as rate of fire, armor-piercing, damage, reload speed and the number of cartridges in the magazine. The user can also change additional gadgets, such as sights.

Before the match starts, you will need to choose 1 of 2 squads: police or rioters fighting among themselves. Several modes are available where gamers will shoot for themselves or participate in team clashes. One session can have up to 16 participants, 8 in each group. Also, the match creator is able to add opponents controlled by artificial intelligence of several difficulty levels.

Many surfaces are shot through, and depending on the thickness of the object, different damage hits the opponent. A bullet may not pass through thick or iron walls. A similar system helps to knock enemies out of their hiding places or finish them off if they have low health. Each weapon by standard includes an additional sight, which can be changed before the start of the gameplay. The user is able to change the appearance of the controlled character.
