Humanities Legend: Hollow Ascending is a video game project set in the magical Middle Ages. In a world where the undead and monsters coexist with people, and technology competes with magic, the user takes on the role of a nameless warrior. As in the game Dark Souls, the plot and backstory of the characters are not presented in direct text. The gamer is invited to find out for himself by collecting artifacts and defeating enemies. Different types of opponents require an individual approach – what works with one enemy may be useless against another.

Among the key features of the project are the following:

• The protagonist of Humanities Legend: Hollow Ascending is capable of mastering magic. This is a powerful and dangerous, but useful force that greatly facilitates the passage of many locations. Thus, magic lightning allows you to stun enemies and remove most of their health with one blow. Also, with the help of witchcraft, access to some passages is opened.
• Enemy mobs are smart. They know how to parry the gamer’s attacks and hit back in the way the user least expects. Yes, an ordinary enemy is capable of bleeding the hero, which encourages you to keep your eyes open.
• The game world is represented by vast locations populated by enemy characters. Occasionally there are also bosses – the most powerful opponents. Defeating the boss is not easy, but it may be necessary to complete the game.
