HyperBlade may be suitable for fans of fighting games using melee weapons. The indie project uses a medieval fantasy setting. In this video game, knights, adventurers and other heroes fight with hammers, a variety of blades, simple and magical swords. Before the start of a fight, you can choose weapons for your ward, put something on his head and body, and also equip him with some kind of accessory. During the brawl, you can run in different directions, jump high (the jumps are controlled), dash, roll, dash in the air, and do somersaults. During fights, they allow you to block, parry, grapple, deliver various strikes, and create combo chains.

The project is made in full 3D, and not in 2.5D, as is often the case in such games. In HyperBlade, combat takes place in a fully three-dimensional space. Fighters can move freely around the arena. In this case, the sight is fixed on the opponent. And the camera located behind him dynamically moves along with all the participants in the battle, trying to keep both warriors in the frame. Battles take place in Colosseum-like settings, ceremonial halls, city squares and other places. There is a chasm around some of the makeshift rings. If one of the characters falls there, he will be considered defeated in the round. The title is focused only on duels. There are regular and ranked matches.
