I Am Overburdened – an indie project made in the roguelike genre. The action takes place in an alternative world where there were once many wizards and witches, but now witchcraft has died out. From the past era, only priceless treasures and artifacts remained, hidden in deep dungeons inhabited by monsters. The protagonist is an artifact seeker who descends underground for them. He has a very high carrying capacity, which allows him to collect a large number of items at a time.

As befits a roguelike, the gameplay is largely determined by chance and luck. For example, each level is generated anew and can have different enemies and treasures. Mystical objects, when equipped, affect the characteristics of the protagonist – they can make him stronger or, conversely, weaker. Therefore, it is better to keep an ear out for all the finds. At the same time, the player sees the location as a whole, which allows him to assess the danger and think through a strategy.

For example, if there is a strong monster at a new stage, you can first try to get to the artifact, put it on, and only then challenge the monster. Among other things, the Hall of Fame is implemented here. In it, the user views his achievements and records. The main character of I Am Overburdened also keeps a journal, where he writes down all the interesting information about objects and monsters. If the gamer does not know how best to approach the next enemy, the seeker's journal can provide the key to solving this problem.
