Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition This is a remake of the original game. In this version, the gameplay graphics have been improved, and some new missions have been added. The story tells of the Forgotten Realms – a land where sorcerers, elves and other fairy-tale races live. The plot begins in a tavern where the main characters relax. The ruler of the city, Hrothgar, disturbs their peace and asks for help. Hrothgar needs accompaniment on the expedition. You will have to go to Kuldahar – a city in which strange things began to happen.

In search of profit and glory, the squad sets off on adventures. However, the operation did not go according to plan – the group was attacked by ice giants and the soldiers had to flee. The head of Hrothgar dies, but the warriors still make it to Kuldahar. In the village they are met by the Archdruid Arundel and informed that evil forces have attacked the lands and are now tyrannizing the population. In order to prevent the threat, the heroes rush into battle.

The game begins with the creation of a squad. The player can choose from the proposed warriors with their own history and characteristics. You can also create a squad yourself by making a fighter from scratch. A warrior can choose his race, appearance, abilities, class, etc. Races in the game have unique abilities and are more predisposed to certain weapons or magic. The character class is also important: thief, mage, archer, warrior, healer, and so on.

The battle group will have to travel across the expanses of the Forgotten Realms and fight the forces of Evil. As you progress, enemies will become stronger. Therefore, in order to resist them, squad members need to be improved and equipped with reliable equipment. The plot develops while completing the main quests, but there are also side quests.
