ICY: Frostbite Edition – a role-playing game in which the gamer has to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. A new Ice Age has hit the Earth and civilization has failed to survive the eternal winter. The few remaining people have united into groups and are traveling through the White Wasteland in search of resources. The protagonist is the leader of one of these groups, and his task is to ensure that his charges survive. And any means are good for this. The gamer can honestly search for food and medicine, trade with other tribes and help others, or organize bandit raids.

When creating a character in ICY: Frostbite Edition, the user is given a certain number of points and 9 different characteristics. The distribution of parameters affects the style of play. For example, a warrior leader is better suited for the role of an aggressive and cruel character, ready to take away the last piece of bread from others for the sake of survival of his people. And a diplomat leader is more suitable for a peaceful and thoughtful game. Therefore, the gamer will not have problems creating a suitable hero.

Locations are represented by a large map with marked areas, such as farms and houses. The player's caravan moves along it and can sometimes meet other characters. Such random encounters can bring both profit and loss – depending on the foresight and decisions of the user. Each location has a degree of danger and loot, which allows you to decide whether the supplies are worth putting the fighters at risk.
