Instruments of Destruction – a constructor with sandbox elements and freedom of action. The mechanics of damage and destruction are based on physical laws, allowing you to destroy buildings or individual objects. The force of the explosion, mass, speed and other aspects will affect how badly an object or vehicle is destroyed. The player is able to create custom cars using hundreds of parts and mechanisms that connect to each other.

A free mode is available where there are no tasks or goals. The user can customize the gameplay, select a map, and have the opportunity to express their imagination by creating unimaginable machines. There are objectives to complete in the campaign, but each objective is achieved in an infinite number of ways. It all depends on the imagination and skill of the gamer. Advanced destruction physics allows you to destroy any structure into pieces, and all objects will interact with each other, changing the environment.

There are many parts available to design unique machines. An intuitive design system helps the user configure individual parts of the mechanism and connect them for functionality. The tutorial suggests starting with simple joints and transmissions, and then moving on to cables or creating animated wheels. The player is given the opportunity to build a huge chainsaw, rocket engines or anything else at his discretion.
