Interior Worlds is an adventure game that invites you to explore the hidden beauty and mystery of empty, strange and familiar spaces. You play as a photographer who uses an ancient and mysterious analog camera to take stunning photos of environmental anomalies in every room. Adventure is inspired by the concept of liminal spaces – transitional or in-between places that evoke feelings of disorientation, nostalgia or anxiety.

The title features ten unique thresholds that must be overcome: a roadside hotel, an empty cinema, a dying shopping center and many others. Each environment is handcrafted with love for the graphics of the late 90s and early 00s. You can interact with various objects such as vending machines, phones, sinks, TVs, or simply turn lights on or off to create different photo moments.

The project also offers many ways to obtain photos. You can adjust the zoom, increase/decrease the focus of the lens, tilt the lens left/right to get a Dutch angle, etc. You can create outrageous compositions in hundreds of ways. Additionally, you can track and share your own in-game photo catalog, time-stamped and pre-filtered with thin layers of maximum liminal cortex. Interior Worlds is an atmospheric and suspenseful first-person exploration game that will appeal to fans of photography, surrealism and atmospheric horror.
