Killer is Dead – Nightmare Edition offers stylish action, with a lot of violence, cruelty and bloody scenes, in the creation of which the famous designer SUDA51 took part. There are four difficulty levels to choose from: easy, normal, difficult and hardcore. The passage includes 12 main tasks and many secondary missions: from kidnapping a specially protected criminal to seducing girls in a bar, giving them gifts, and taking their eyes away from intimate parts in time when they look at the hero.

The plot takes place in the near future, but in which space tourism has already developed and cybernetic-technological improvements to the body have become commonplace throughout the world. The main problem is “Dark Matter”, which is produced by the side of the Moon that does not receive the sun's rays. Unbalanced, cruel people suffer from this matter, after which they become a real threat to society. To combat them, the profession “Executioners” was invented, although after a certain time, they themselves are exposed to its effects and lose their minds.

The main character in Killer is Dead is a rookie executioner – Mondo Zolpa. He is a handsome guy, wears glasses, takes his responsibilities very seriously and at the same time craves attention from the opposite sex. As you progress, you will encounter various futuristic devices, mystical things, ghosts, mind manipulators, etc. The main weapon used to fight enemies is a katana and a cyber-arm, which can transform into a machine gun, freeze and drill through enemies.

The battles are intense, if the character does not miss blows, but carries out various attacks, parrying and dodging in time, the counter accumulates, and you can perform a super blow or an enchanting finishing move, with all sorts of special effects and maximum cruelty. After death, enemies leave behind various loot, which is divided into categories by color. Yellow – skills and combo attacks, pink – first aid kits and healing potions, green – increase the life bar, and red – pump up the blood bar, which is used for special attacks that bring huge damage.
