Lakeview Cabin 2 – a two-dimensional action-horror that continues the story of the original, released a few years earlier. The user will have to explore the world drawn using pixel graphics and move the virtual protégé in two dimensions due to the peculiarity of the camera – it is installed on the side of the scene. Only one person, not from a large company, worked on a project with additional functionality, such as multiplayer and control with a controller. The cooperative mode supports the simultaneous connection of 4 people on one server, who must act together for the overall successful completion of the storyline.

Lakeview 2's campaign is divided into 4 parts, with individual world-arcs for some of the characters converging into an overall story. Throughout the entire passage, the gamer is given all sorts of goals, which must be accomplished through dynamic and varied gameplay with mechanics that add challenge to what is happening. Most quests need to be completed while the sun is above the horizon, because at night the initial task is survival. What is happening on the screen has an adult rating, because the game shows scenes of violence, as well as blood and insults.
