Lambda Wars It is not positioned as an independent project. This is a modification for Half Life 2, designed for team battles in a familiar setting. Users will receive a chance once again to get to familiar locations, but this time they will command a whole detachment, observing what is happening from above. There is no plot or interconnected missions – it is enough for the user to choose a side of the conflict, decide on the regime and join the battle.

List of modes in the game Lambda Wars:

• Destruction – for victory it is necessary to get rid of all enemy buildings on the map.
• Base protection – Players defend from the pressing waves of enemies who intend to destroy the fortifications.
• The competitive mod is a simplified variation of the first regime, because here you need to destroy only the main building of the enemy in order to achieve victory.

As it should be within the framework of this universe, there are 2 sides of the conflict – rebels and combines. Each side has its own approach to the collection of resources and the construction of key buildings. For example, resistance engineers must manually collect metal, while their enemies are enough to install a reactor directly on a pile of iron. It is also important that all structures feed energy, and a generator must be located next to them. As for the units themselves, participating in the hostilities, they are divided into classes (medic, flamethrower, veteran, resident, saboteur, Vortigont and others). Each of them has unique weapons, and this can be used to create tactical variability. Not without a pumping system, with which the potential of all available units is revealed. This applies not only to the basic characteristics, but also to the new trunks that only increase the value of the fighters in the battle.
