Legends of Amberland: The Forgotten Crown will return players to the atmosphere of those same RPGs from the 90s. Dark forces have awakened and are preparing to take over these lands and destroy all its inhabitants. It would seem that there is no hope, but the court magician, examining ancient records, found information about an ancient crown that can stop evil. And this is strange, because absolutely no one remembers anything about this artifact, and the crown is practically not mentioned in the books. It turned out that for an unknown reason, an oblivion spell was cast on all residents. The wizard assembled a team of seven brave warriors to find the crown, save the world from destruction and find out who and why made everyone forget about this artifact.

The world in Legends of Amberland is open and you can complete quests in any order. Only in some cases, in order to advance further, you need to perform several additional actions. This is a turn-based strategy with moving through cells and turning 90 degrees. At the top there is a map where you can see the location of characters, chests with useful items and passages to new locations. With each step, hidden places on the map will become visible. The battles go quickly and don't get boring. Each member of the team of seven characters has unique abilities and characteristics. By purchasing equipment, you can improve your heroes and make them much stronger and make it easier for you to explore the fantasy world.
