Living Legends 9: Voice of the Sea is an adventure game whose gameplay is focused on finding objects, solving puzzles, and progressing through the storyline. The mystical journey begins when the main character receives an invitation from his brother to Sunny Island in honor of Neptune's Day. Upon arrival at the appointed place, a terrifying incident occurs, ending the good mood and celebration.

A mysterious curse hangs over the island, causing most of the people to turn into monsters and salt statues. Someone managed to greatly anger the Ruler of the Seas and his daughter, which is why his anger killed and cursed many innocent residents. The protagonist manages to remain in his body. He must solve dozens of puzzles and try to resolve the conflict between the two nations in order to save his brother and the rest of the island.

The gameplay offers classic genre elements such as searching for objects and interacting with the environment using a point-and-click system. As the user explores locations, the user will advance through the story and fill the inventory with useful things. Some items are connected to each other and used in subsequent levels. You will also need to rearrange objects and activate mechanisms to get to key aspects and open passages to new regions.
