Liyla and The Shadows of War – a story about a little girl named Liila. The plot is based on real events that took place in 2014 during the war in Gaza. The gameplay is typical of the platformer genre with a minimalistic environment and dynamic events as you progress. The main character will have to avoid bombs, drones and other dangers while moving through the dangerous Gaza Strip.

Along the way, the player will solve puzzles and react to rapid changes in the environment. To survive, you will need to make lightning-fast and correct decisions. The user observes the war from a civilian and immature perspective, looking at the consequences of the fighting and how it looks from the children's perspective. The girl fights fate and tries to save her own life during rocket attacks and shootouts that happen on the streets of the city.

Living in a war zone puts every inhabitant in danger. The main character lives with her parents and they will often flee together from impending threats. Obstacles and difficulties are presented in the form of minimalistic objects that will need to be overcome in platformer mode. To reach the next levels and safe zones, the user will need to react in time to what is happening and choose one of several paths.
