Maelstrom: The Battle for Earth Begins reveals the history of the earth of the future, which strived for progress, but through negligence took the path of extinction. Environmental disasters, global war, the collapse of civilization – this is what the player will have to face. The world is destroyed, and resources are running out, and such events literally divided all of humanity into two parts. On one side are the Remnants, the city's freedom fighters, and on the other, the Ascension, an advanced organization taking advantage of technological progress. However, their plans are invaded by alien invaders, with whom everyone enters into battle, while continuing the internecine war. During story missions, the user is given the opportunity to play as different characters and give orders, implementing military tasks, using weapons and tactics that reveal all the advantages of different factions.

With the help of Maelstrom, you can immerse yourself in a symbiosis of strategic battles and a dystopia where everything is destroyed. The planet of the future is mired in battles and battles not only between people, but also alien creatures. The player takes on each role from the three main factions, which is endowed with individual characteristics, its own strategies and advantages. Using the elements you can change the landscape, using it as a strategic weapon. In a few clicks you can dig a lake, create a valley, freeze water, melt ice or control the wind.
