Magicka 2 is a continuation of the project, which at one time became a cult for many fans. The story revolves around a group of wizards who confront armies of opponents using a variety of spells. After the civil war between the sorcerers, their numbers were reduced to a minimum, and this led to the onset of peace. But now, a new threat looms over the lands, and magicians need to unite in order to protect the territories from enemies. The story campaign here can be played either alone or in co-op with up to 4 people. The heroes move through sequentially built locations, literally mowing down crowds of enemies.

The main feature of “Magic 2” in terms of gameplay is the use of spells. To do this, it is not enough to simply click on an available spell for it to work. Here, the user needs to independently form a spell using 8 available elements. For example, combining fire and stone will allow you to launch fiery projectiles at enemies. If the gamer has created a list of spells, it will be displayed next to the icons on the screen. But even with dangerous combinations, everything will be much more complicated than it seems. Some enemies will be immune to certain elements, while others will simply be too dense and will take twice as long to kill. There will also be special artifacts, which are unique difficulty modifiers, as a “surprise”. For example, players will be required to teleport to the point where a previously killed enemy was located, and they will have to dodge their own attacks. Another modifier will specifically strengthen enemies, increasing speed, size or damage.
