MAMIYA A Shared Illusion of the World's End is a visual novel designed for an adult audience as it has a really serious dramatic storyline. Events take gamers to an alternative post-calyptic reality in which human civilization has practically ceased to exist.

The key characters of MAMIYA A Shared Illusion of the World's End are a small group of survivors who fearfully await the next day, because they risk losing their lives. Their destinies are threatened by a strange anomaly, which has never been explained, but was able to turn the surface of the planet into a well-worn desert. Traveling through a dilapidated world, the heroes meet a mysterious stranger named Mamiya.

These strangers are the protagonist for whom the player plays. He will join a group of unique Persians, each of whom has a unique story and character traits. The gamer’s task is to teach people to accept reality in a new way and not be afraid of death, because it is an integral part of life itself. The gameplay is represented by endless dialogues in which the user personally creates the fate of the universe and the NPCs inhabiting it.
