Events March of the Eagles take place in Europe 1850-1820, telling about dramatic conflicts between several states. The military strategy game invites the user to learn about an important European period, where you can control one side of the conflict and combat units. The player will have to rise to power during the Napoleonic War.

By advancing and capturing more territories, the main character claims complete control over the European region. By leading a nation, the user has access to several basic factors that allow him to progress. Battles are necessary to capture territories, prisoners, resources or additional troops. Diplomacy will help negotiate with other parties, create alliances or temporary mutual assistance for quick progress.

An extensive troop management system includes the ability to change battle order, formation and number of soldier types. Resources are also needed to research new technologies that provide access to vast capabilities in military tactics and economic organization. Battles will take place on land and sea with different gameplay features. Multiplayer mode supports up to 32 participants at the same time, able to fight in teams, alliances or each for himself.
