Metal Gear Solid will allow the player to try on the role of a spy and become a pro at stealth. The main character in the game is Snake Solid, a former famous soldier who has retired. However, the government does not leave Snake alone and forces him to participate in a special operation. A terrorist organization has captured a nuclear weapons manufacturing base and taken control of Metal Gear, a robot capable of launching missiles. In exchange for the robot, the terrorists demanded that Naked Snake, nicknamed Big Boss, be given to them. A fighter is sent behind enemy lines to prevent a disaster.

The action takes place on an enemy base, which is teeming with opponents. There is only one hero, but there are a horde of mercenaries, so you have to act secretly. The gamer has access to a range of weapons from pistols to portable rocket launchers. However, the most effective way to neutralize the enemy is hand-to-hand combat, because it creates much less noise than a shot. In any case, how to get to the final is up to the player. Enemy soldiers are smart, so they can easily detect a fighter by hearing him, seeing him on surveillance cameras, or tracking him. In addition to ordinary soldiers, battles with unique bosses are available.
