Metal Unit is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. The main character is Joanna, a soldier trying to get to her sister who betrayed her. The walkthrough begins with the protagonist donning the advanced M-Unit 11 suit, after which she sets out to fight enemies and alien creatures. Along the way, she encounters Earth's secrets and uncovers the secret of humanity.

The home planet of humans is under pressure from all sides. Extraterrestrial creatures are attacking with the help of unknown weapons, and ancient creatures have begun to emerge en masse from the depths of the Earth. Alien and high-tech war machines are descending from space. Joanna is a soldier with a newly invented military suit. In an epic adventure, you will have to fight monsters and ancient creatures, while trying to get to the heroine’s sister. Her relative sided with the enemy.

The combat system offers flexible features and a way to find your own style of play. In shootouts, the ward is able to dodge shots, go on the offensive, or combine her skills together. Destructive combinations allow you to instantly kill several enemies, or deal a lot of damage to bosses. The environment is vast and includes many places to explore. The user will visit dungeons, alien worlds or destroyed cities of humanity. Each biome includes different enemies, obstacles and tasks.
