METALLIC CHILD begins with a large-scale uprising that occurred on a huge spaceship, the Stream of Life. The player takes control of the android Ron, nicknamed the metal child, who will have to fight hostile robots. A scientist named Irene created an aggressive artificial intelligence and equipped it with combat-ready robots to carry out a dark plot aimed at system destruction and death.

The action takes place in an alternate 20th century universe inside a space laboratory. All the inhabitants of the ship agree among themselves to crash to Earth, causing enormous damage. However, Rona and Pana do not wish to cause harm and will try to confront their opponents. Locations are procedurally generated, constantly offering different locations of hazards and useful items.

The hardcore difficulty level makes each opponent original and strong. To defeat opponents, the user will have to find certain tactics or use different objects. As the main character Rona progresses, she upgrades her own abilities and improves her combat skills. The gamer controls the android remotely from Earth. There are many NPCs throughout the ship that you can interact with to better understand the situation and backstory.
