Metro Simulator 2020as the name of the project suggests, is a metro simulator. It uses a first-person view. An indie project gives you the opportunity to play the role of a driver or passenger. As a metro employee, the user will be able to control 2 types of trains with detailed cabins. The gamer is allowed to increase and decrease speed, move arrows, open and close doors, switch cameras, and activate the informant. You also need to pay attention to traffic lights. If the player wants to be a simple passenger, he will be able to walk around the stations and carriages. He is also allowed to ride in a train controlled by artificial intelligence.

The game is also known by its shorter name, Metro Simulator. The project contains two modes. The scenarios offer to perform various tasks. For example: to move a locomotive with empty cars or, together with the dispatcher, to resolve a situation with a person falling on the rails. There is also a Free mode. In it you can set up a schedule, select any routes, and plan a working day at the depot. An indie title takes time into account. For example, at night there will be no people at the stations at all, since the metro is closed. And during rush hour during the day there will be a large flow of passengers. Virtual people behave believably. They react to the arrival of cars, try to take seats, approach the exit in advance before the desired stop, and so on.
