Microcosmum 2 may be suitable for lovers of unusual projects. This is a real time strategy game. The role of buildings and units here is played by tiny creatures. In this RTS you can extract resources, erect similar buildings, churn out fighters, capture, defend and develop territories. There is an organism designer that allows you to create and customize soldiers. Parts for them are knocked out from destroyed enemies. Each such element changes the creature's characteristics. And some fragments also provide bonus skills.

Microcosm 2 is a continuation of the game Microcosmum: survival of cells. The user controls the collective intelligence of microorganisms. In the first part, the “hero” survived in a microcosm, undergoing natural selection. By the time of the sequel, he had become the dominant life form. However, the “protagonist” was forced to leave his home and go on a space journey in search of a new habitat. He managed to find an inhabited planet. But it will have to start almost from scratch. The campaign consists of 72 levels.

The battles take place on a global map, which is divided into locations. These zones differ greatly from each other. They may have too low or high a temperature, an alkaline or acidic environment, radiation, and so on. In order for units to receive only buffs and not debuffs from these factors, they need to be accustomed to the harsh conditions in the incubator. There is also the opportunity to terraform your possessions, making the environment in them not just unfavorable, but deadly for enemy creatures.
