Monday begins on Saturdayis an adventure based on the same humorous science fiction story of the Strugatsky brothers. Setting the game invites users to visit within the walls of one unusual research institute. The Research Institute is located in a certain fictional northern town with the name Solovets.

The main character of the story works in the offices of the Research Institute of Sorcation and Magic (Niychavo), the prototype of which is the Pulkovo observatory. Monday begins on Saturday, tells that in this institution in the middle of ancient forests, in the heart of epic Rus', they are engaged in the exposure of long -rooted folklorous myths and all kinds of wonders. However, no matter how paradoxical, the staff of employees here consists entirely of a variety of magicians and sorcerers. Ostrosteric utopia also includes elements of socialist realism. As a researcher, the player is obliged to determine the boundaries of reality and mythology.
