Monsters' Den: Book of Dread is a casual adventure game in which you need to explore dungeons. At the beginning, you are asked to choose a squad of 4 characters, each of which has its own characteristics, abilities and class. Turn-based tactics allow you to calculate moves based on the position of the squad. Random generation of maps will allow you to go through locations endlessly. There is a campaign mode to choose from, where you have to go through a short story. Or survival, with endless progress until the heroes die.

The class system in Monsters' Den: Book of Dread:

• The Barbarian is a strong fighter who uses only offensive talents and wears medium armor. Deals great damage to enemies.
• Cleric – serves to support, resurrect and heal other heroes. Wields a heavy mace, good against undead.
• A magician is a summoner of creatures from other worlds, using their power to kill opponents. Has a small amount of health.
• Mage – elemental spellcasters, attacking the enemy from the back rows. Can carry swords, but due to fabric armor, becomes less effective in close combat.
• Ranger – buffs allies by increasing useful characteristics. Can remove curses and use a bow.
• Rogue – specializes in poisons and poisoning, hiding in the shadows and delivering stealth strikes. They are considered the fastest.
• Warrior – uses a shield for protection and stands first, taking all the enemy's blows.

Items from chests can be equipped, which will increase your chances of survival. At some stages there are dangerous bosses. Legendary monsters store valuable treasures that will allow you to become even stronger. And in the skill tree, it is possible to upgrade several groups.
