Actions Monty Python and the Holy Grail are set in medieval England in the 10th century, during the time of the heroes of the Round Table. The plot humorously plays on the popular tales of King Arthur, his companions and journeys aimed at obtaining the Holy Grail. In the adventure of the main character and his companions, they will have to meet the Black Knight and other opponents, presented in a ridiculed form.

The gameplay of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail consists of numerous mini-games where you have to complete various tasks, limited in time or actions. Sometimes missions do not limit the player to specific goals, but he will need to solve the problem himself. The walkthrough features many animated cutscenes and dialogues between characters that expand the in-game story.

The gamer will take part in a Tetris clone, where he will use dead plague victims along with familiar cubes of different shapes. In Whac-A-Mole mode, the user controls a knight who spanks innocent girls, and if he touches those whose cheeks are already exposed, points are deducted from their total score. There is a mission where you need to remember the location of four multi-colored burning witches and restore their order. Most of the levels have a point-and-click control system.
