Mordheim: City of the Damned is the first virtual adventure based on a board game. The Warhammer universe takes users into a hostile environment where there is a war between many races. As the commander-in-chief of your own squad, you have to lead your team through multiple battles. The gamer will face huge bosses, high-tech machines and difficult choices.

The gameplay combines RPG elements with tactical military encounters. Extensive squad customization allows the user to select units, give them active and passive abilities, apply equipment and upgrade them. The first plot events begin with a comet with two tails falling on Mordheim. After this, fierce battles begin. Factions fight for control of territories, getting to artifacts and valuable fragments of Wyrdstone. Before passing, you will need to choose a side: Imperial mercenaries, Sisters of Sigmar and the cult of the Taken.

Each faction has different troops, special abilities and tactics in clashes. Successful tasks will provide a level for the wards, through which the squad is improved. The damage system affects every soldier on the battlefield. Bullets ricochet, explosions cause area damage, and creatures can lose limbs, consciousness, vision, and other negative effects. If a subject is wounded but not killed, he can be used in the future, but his combat effectiveness will greatly or imperceptibly deteriorate.

By shooting and killing enemies in the ruins of the Cursed City, the user will get to the most ancient artifacts and precious equipment. Weapons and ammunition are taken from fallen enemies. Mordheim is the bloodiest place in the Warhammer universe, so battles occur every second. Units are divided into classes and can interact with partners.
