MUV-LUV alternative – A rare representative of linear visual novels. Unlike previous projects of the series, the third part of the story practically does not contain branches and different endings. The adventure remains interactive, however, it is hardly possible to influence the main scenario. The bet is made to the open plot, which turns the action rather into watching an animated film.

The action of MUV-LUV alternate occurs on the ground in an alternative temporary line. In it, during an expedition to the moon by the forces of China and Canada, extraterrestrial organisms called beta were discovered. Aliens arrived alien alien from Mars and immediately attacked humanity. As a result, by 2001, the population of the planet decreased by 3 times.

However, the invaders learned to fight back, thanks to humanoid robots. The situation, however, still remained critical. Most of the pilots died in the first minutes of the battle, and therefore earthlings could only defend themselves. In this cruel world, the main character of Kozuka once woke up. He moved there from ordinary land, where there were no alien invaders at all.

In the current plot, the protagonist again finds himself at home after an unsuccessful mossy in his robot. Unfortunately, around is not a native temporary line, but still the same non -passing war. However, it soon turns out that Kozuki was transferred three years ago, by the time the game series began. The memory remains with him, and therefore with new knowledge he has a chance to save the world and his friends.
