Mysteries of Neverville: The Runestone of Light is a point-and-click hidden object adventure. The player finds himself in the vastness of Neverville, where he must get to the stolen runestone of light and return it. The huge territory is filled with useful items, puzzles and dangers that the main character will face.

A powerful artifact that protected the city of Neverville for centuries has disappeared without a trace. The user needs to travel across a large area, solving problems and trying to get to the lost relic. A dark fog surrounded the people inside the city, causing misfortune and taking advantage of the city's insecurity. As the daughter of Swan Rastlin, a great guardian and sorcerer, you have to figure out who is hiding in the fog and where the artifact endowed with great power ended up.

At each level, the gamer will need to get to all the necessary objects, such as a knife, a rose, a shard, a coin, a heart, a telescope, a door key and much more. To achieve things, you have to interact with the environment, activate mechanisms, solve puzzles and move objects to get to hidden elements. The user can use a hint that will help in difficult situations, but will not directly indicate what needs to be done.
