Mysteries of Shaola: The Cave is a role-playing adventure in which the player will explore the dimension of Chaol, encountering various secrets and making choices that affect the further passage. The main character will face opponents and fight in turn-based battles. On the way you will come across orcs, skeletons, sorcerers and formidable mythological creatures. Each enemy has a unique set of attacks, abilities and weaknesses.

The central character navigates the Kingdom of Kazen and gradually reveals more secrets about a mysterious cave that hides many mysteries and monsters. The protagonist will be able to create his own legend based on the adventure and the things he saw. In the chronicle of Chaola, there will be powerful vicious forces that must be destroyed. Previously, no one had managed to get out of the underground labyrinth. If the hero manages to do this, then the whole world will know about the horrors hiding inside.

As you progress, the character acquires new items and skills. It also gives you access to additional attacks and combat options. In addition to opponents, sometimes you need to solve puzzles and interact with the environment. The plot includes many unexpected twists and meetings with minor characters. Multiple endings are based on what decisions gamers made during dialogue and other gameplay variables.
