Myth 3: The Wolf Age, despite the triple in the title, in terms of plot it is a prequel to the first two parts, and not their continuation. The story begins 1000 years before the war between the Fallen Lords and the forces of Light, at the end of the Age of Wind. The threequel is graphically noticeably different from its predecessors, because the game moved to a new engine and was made in full 3D. Plus it was already made by another studio. The campaign consists of more than 20 missions. The story of the barbarian Connakt, his friend Damasus, Ravanna and the archmage Myrdred is told through briefings between missions. It tells the story of how young heroes fight a race of monsters called Myrkridia and try to save humanity. For lore buffs, there are a ton of references in the story. In addition to the single-player mode, multiplayer is available to players.

In Russian translation, the project is called Myth III: Age of the Wolf. His genre remained the same. This is a 3D real-time tactical strategy game. You cannot extract resources or build buildings in it. Gamers have to fight with the army that is given to them according to the plot. At the same time, units must be protected.
