NEBULOUS: Fleet Command puts a whole fleet of space battleships under the control of the gamer. At the same time, it can be formed at your discretion, selecting units and building their firepower depending on your favorite play style. Directly in skirmishes, it is possible to control all units, giving each a separate order. By keeping the entire fleet together, the player will simultaneously have the opportunity to send small groups of scouts to explore the surrounding space. The expanses of combat zones are huge, so it is not always worth going into a head-on collision; sometimes tactical maneuvers can do much more, allowing you to save some of the ships.

In NEBULOUS: Fleet Command, the environment can be used as useful objects – gas clouds, asteroids. Such obstacles can shield allies from detection by enemy radar systems. It is important to remember that all fleets in the project are unique, so you can never predict what exactly is hidden in the bowels of large ships. The first thing to worry about is the characteristics of enemy ships. This will give you a big advantage. As the battle progresses, you can see on the screen all the damage received in the form of small health bars. They display the general condition of the unit, as well as its individual systems. Teams of repairmen, engaged in repairs between battles, allow the damage received from the enemy to be restored.
