NEKOPARA Vol. 0 – a special episode, background to the events of the first part of the novel. It describes a day in the life of the Minazuke family. In the morning, the cat girls learn that their owner Kasho left the house with his parents. And they now have free time that they can spend with each other, doing what they love. But before that, they need to cook food and clean up the mansion. After which the water procedures will begin, which the girls carry out all together. In addition, Kashou's sister Sigura will be involved in their daily activities. It was she who was raising the cats when they were found thrown out in a box.

The game itself NEKOPARA Vol. 0 was released as additional content to the main campaign. Events take place before the opening of “La Soleil”. They allow you to get to know the main and minor characters better. Spend time with them on a walk, lunch and dinner. Find out about the secret desires and dreams that cats hide within themselves. Also, the novel will reveal the character traits of each neko who lives under the same roof with the Minazuke family.

The peculiarity of the novel is that it has no choices or plot endings. The whole story follows the written script, without any branches. The player can save the progress of what they read and return to it in the future. Also, this part introduced the “Petting mode” function, which allows you to stroke the character sprite using the cursor.
