Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists ~Ateliers of the New World~ offers to take on the role of city manager along with the main character Nelke and her maid. Upon arrival at the settlement, however, she discovers on the spot rather a small village. This is what will have to be developed and rebuilt at a rapid pace. To do this, alchemists come to the aid of the protagonist, capable of synthesizing objects using magic. New settlers will also come in handy, wandering into a new town every now and then.

The gameplay in Nelka and the legendary alchemists is divided into 3 phases:

• Management. At the beginning of each day, you need to give orders to your subordinates and decide what items to produce, what to sell, and so on.
• Development. Then you can choose which building and where to build. This opens up additional possibilities, brings in more characters and advances development.
• Free time. The end of each day is devoted to expeditions into uncharted lands for materials, as well as meetings with NPCs to develop relationships.

However, the process is not as simple as it seems at first glance. There are always not enough resources for all projects, as well as time to improve relations with each NPC. And those, by the way, provide alchemical recipes for friendship. Additionally, if the economy stops, the residents will become unhappy and the game will end. And in expeditions, not only do you need to fight in a turn-based mode, you also have to choose between quickly passing to uncharted territories or collecting vital materials. So the focus is on tough management and overcoming constantly impending adversity.
