NightCry – survival horror. The player finds himself on a cruise ship, where a mysterious creature commits a series of bloodthirsty murders. The main characters gather to discuss the further plan of action and how to get out alive. You will need to find salvation before the Scissorwalker kills the rest of the crew. The project uses point-and-click controls and the story is based on the Clock Tower.

The game was previously known as “Project Scissors”, and after the update many changes were added to the gameplay. A gamer has several tasks. You will need to find objects on the screen and interact with the environment, which will help you solve puzzles and escape from the deadly monster. The user selects with the mouse which elements to interact with, where to move the character and how to use existing items.

Exploration of the liner occurs by searching for objects and clues. The key mechanics of the passage are communication with minor characters. Depending on the lines chosen, the ending and further narration will change. With the help of other survivors, you can get information or learn about clues. The guests even begin to suspect other people of murder, not believing that “some” monster could have done it. While searching the ship, the user will come across various hidden places and Easter eggs.
