Nystagmus Submits the player in a state of fear and complete loneliness on the mysterious island. There is no way to get out and only the old lighthouse in the distance can be the last signal for travelers and the chance of quick salvation. But help may not arrive, because something is already chasing the user and it seems much faster than a person.

The main character is a quite happy young engineer who managed to find a girl of his dreams. They met for a long time and are now finally ready to tie each other with the long-awaited bonds. But one of the nights, the bride disappears and leaves a very strange note where he writes that she decided to visit one of the nearest islands. The protagonist is scared, because in the yard is deep night and decides to go after her by boat. But a sudden storm destroys his plans and a small vessel brings, and after that he endures ashore, which turns out to be the very place where the future wife arrived. The character decides to find a lover nevertheless and simultaneously find materials to repair his transport in order to get out of this frightening place. But a sudden bluish glow violates his plans, because it comes from a terrible monster.

All that the hero of Nystagmus can run as soon as possible. He will have to explore several large locations like a lighthouse and an abandoned farm in order to find the necessary objects there and still find the missing beloved. Although the player will never be sure that the missing person is alive.
