One Fateful Night is an indie horror project that takes the player to a research base where there is not a single person. A mysterious territory appeared next to the main character in a mysterious way, and he decided to go explore it. Inside, he encounters mysterious creatures who are hostile to him. He also notices spilled blood and severed body parts and realizes that people have died here before.

The central character will need to explore the environment, look for useful items and try to escape from a dangerous place. The perspective is presented with a first-person view. Found things can be used in different situations. Depending on the user's decisions and actions, the campaign path may change and influence future events. The passage has several endings that are radically different from each other.

It all started when Steven broke into a research facility that had mysteriously appeared for one night. As he investigates, he realizes that he is involved in a dangerous business and his life is threatened by extraterrestrial creatures. He is trapped inside, but has many opportunities to save his own life. The gamer is able to focus on rescue or explore the environment longer to unravel the mystery of the object. There are many notes and documents with valuable information scattered around the area.
