ORION: Prelude is one of those shooters that competently combine several key features for them. This concerns a high pace, a wide variety of weapons, the presence of vehicles and interaction with them, as well as the presence of special skills that give an advantage in battle. The essence of what is happening is to control fighters from one group and protect your own fortifications from packs of dinosaurs. But this is only the basic mode, and if you wish, you can enter into battle between the units themselves.

The class system in ORION: Prelude involves choosing one of 3 types of fighters. This could be a support unit, an attack aircraft and a scout. They differ from each other in their functions, weapons and perks. For example, support has increased armor, as well as a healing gun, which can be used to restore the health of allies. The scout is able to become invisible for a short time, and coupled with increased movement speed, he can quickly occupy a convenient position. The stormtrooper is equipped with a jetpack, with the help of which he can cover considerable distances, avoiding getting into the epicenter of the battle. It is important to take into account that larger individuals have an increased health reserve, so additional firepower will be required to eliminate them. If we talk about vehicles, there are jeeps with machine guns, jet planes, ATVs and other oversized models that sometimes exceed the running speed of dinosaurs.
