IN Otem's Defiance The player takes control of a child named Autumn, who has been chosen as a sacrifice to be given to the gods of his tribe. The protagonist finds himself in the center of a ritual, transported to a circular arena. He must fight ghosts and monsters, dodge attacks and strike back. If he manages to hold out long enough, the secrets of a terrifying tradition invented by a mysterious shaman will begin to unfold.

In the arena, the user must dodge enemy projectiles that materialize in the center of the map. During the game, the gamer will need to avoid obstacles, traps, collect bonuses and attack with energy spheres. The main mission is to stay alive in the ritual performed by the tribe's shaman. The antagonist creates this only in his own interests, trying to destroy the little boy.

The user gets a fast and responsive run with the ability to simultaneously dodge, control shooting and pick up various bonuses. There are 5 arenas located on the continent of Aterra, where 36 original rings are presented. As you progress, the difficulty increases, offering faster obstacles and powerful opponents. The player can get 30 achievements. There are 16 Ringbogs, each of which has its own attack patterns and debuffs.
