OUTLIER – is an action and RPG video game developed specifically for virtual reality technology. Without a helmet or glasses, as well as other controllers, the gameplay is impossible. The events unfold in a science fiction universe of the distant future. The Earth has long ceased to be suitable for life and people settled on huge ark ships and now travel through the galaxies in search of a habitable planet. The main character becomes the captain of one of these arks.

The protagonist of OUTLIER gets into a black hole with his ship, which throws everyone into an unknown system – it is quite similar to the Solar System. Many planets here are inhabited by aggressive alien races. All levels of this universe are procedurally generated, which is why each new session becomes unique. The user is obliged to make forays to dozens, or even hundreds of planets. To confront enemies, he can use a variety of futuristic weapons.

In addition to guns, you can also throw grenades at your opponents and cast spells with colorful effects. There is a simple character upgrade system. You also need to complete various story and side quests and make key decisions in them that affect not only the fate of the characters, but also the appearance of the entire universe.
