Painkiller: Reload is an improved version of the original game, which also added several new levels. The main character Denial and his beloved wife were driving along the highway in a car. But a sudden accident sent their souls to purgatory, as no one survived the collision. The woman was sent to Paradise, but the higher powers could not decide about the fate of the man. To avoid doubt, they instructed him to go to the front line with the monsters who decided to expand the territory of Hell. If he copes with them, he will be able to join his beloved, and if not, he will simply become part of the evil spirits. Having defeated an entire army, the protagonist not only stopped the demonic horde, but also accidentally released a crazed portal guardian, who is half demon and half angel.

The player of Pankiller: Reload will have to fight in the most unusual locations. When demons attack, they turn the space around them into an illusionary map similar to the human world. They do this to make it easier to navigate the terrain and repel enemy attacks. But this will also be an advantage for the user, because there are places where you can hide.
