Phantasmal – Adventure horror with elements of survival, the main feature of which is the procedural generation of all locations. This allows you to make each reproduction as exciting as the first acquaintance with the plot campaign, designed both for solitary passage and cooperative with a comrade. The project setting resembles Lovecraft's works due to similar monsters and general atmosphere.

The scene of the campaign is an abandoned city, similar to a fortress, called Cowlun. The gamer gets under the control of an ordinary person, which is weak not only physically compared to otherworldly creatures, but also morally. The psyche may not withstand a long stay near these creatures, so it is better to hide from them and not come into contact. You can go further along the procedurally generated locations only with the use of cunning.

The game has a system of permanent death, which means that the player has to start all over again after every death. Only intra -game money is transferred to a new attempt, which can be spent on pumping the characteristics of a virtual protege, the purchase of important objects, simple weapons like a stick or knife, and much more. Also, useful things can be obtained by searching for locations, but this can be dangerous due to noise during their collection, which attracts monsters.
