IN Phasmophobia Paranormal investigators travel to various locations filled with otherworldly activity, trying to collect evidence of the existence of spirits. The psychological horror game features co-op, designed for 4 online users, where the hero acts together with three team members, gaining vast experience, meeting unusual ghosts and trying to explore various places using various equipment. The game has realistic graphics and voice acting, is designed for cross-platform playthrough including virtual reality devices, cooperative multiplayer, where teamwork is the key to success.

The hero is a member of a group of researchers investigating the paranormal activities of spirits. The company constantly travels to places inhabited or filled with paranormal activity. The goal is to collect as much evidence as possible of the existence of otherworldly forces. The team uses special equipment to hunt, search and record evidence of ghosts in their work. The heroes then sell the resulting data to the extermination group. The user is asked to support his group in the process by detecting the location of ghosts using cameras, motion sensors, or by independently going to explore the location. In total, the character will have to face ten types of ghosts, each of which has separate characteristics, which requires a different approach to the investigation. Equipment includes electromagnetic field sensors, a thermometer and a night vision camera, and spirit boxes, which allows you to constantly find different clues. The ghosts here are able to hear the player using voice interaction, for example when working with Ouija boards and boxes.
