Pillars of Garendall tells about the fantasy kingdom of Garendall. One day, the capital of this state is attacked by monsters. And the hero with long hair needs to save the city from these creatures. At first he is very weak. Gradually, the protagonist becomes more powerful and reveals his potential. He can fight with one-handed weapons: swords, axes, clubs, daggers, staves, and so on. Battles with dragons, giants and other fairytale opponents take place in real time. A partially open world is available for exploration. It is divided into many interconnected locations.

Columns of Garendall is a simplified RPG with top-down action elements. Leveling up in it is not the same as that of most representatives of the RPG genre. As a fighter gains a level, he only increases his health. To increase his characteristics (strength, agility, accuracy, endurance, speed and luck), you need to drink special potions. Equipment also gives an increase to parameters. On your ward you can put on boots, an amulet, armor (armor, gloves and a helmet come in one set), a shield, a belt, a melee weapon and one ring. Loot comes in varying degrees of rarity. Equipment is not visually displayed on the character model. The protagonist's appearance changes only after receiving titles.
