Planescape Torment is about a mysterious character known simply as the Nameless One. His entire body is covered with numerous scars, he has lived many lives, but he remembers absolutely nothing about his mysterious past. To shed light on all the questions of interest, the immortal warrior will have to travel through the huge city of Sigil and its environs. As the story progresses, the protagonist will be joined by other characters who were familiar with him in past lives.

Adventures in Planescape Torment begin with the creation of a GG – they have appearance settings and characteristics such as strength, dexterity and charisma. Initially, the Nameless One starts in the warrior class, but as he progresses he will be able to transform into a wizard or robber. The controls are as simple as possible – the gamer must indicate where to go and who to attack using the right mouse button. There is no need to fight numerous opponents alone – up to 5 companions can move along with the GG.

The key feature of the gameplay is not tied to fights as in most RPGs, but to the plot and dialogues. The user can communicate with almost every NPC and even more so with a companion. In some cases, for the correct answer the protagonist can receive significantly more experience and bonuses than for killing one of the toughest bosses. There are so many quests (main and secondary) that they are all recorded in a special journal, where you can view their detailed descriptions.
