History in Power Drill Massacre takes its basis from classic horror films, but allows players to deviate from the templates and create their own ending. The focus is on a young girl who went on a long journey in her personal car and halfway there it broke down. As befits the genre, this happened in the middle of a dense and almost deserted forest. It is night outside, no passing travelers, there is no way to call a tow truck on a mobile phone either. She can’t spend the night here, so she determines for herself where to go and after walking a short distance she found herself at an old building. It is clear that the building has not been updated for a long time and is most likely abandoned, but perhaps there will be funds inside that will help her out of an emergency situation. As soon as she crossed the threshold, the door closed with a lock, slamming the trap.

Then the heroine of the plot of the Drill Massacre learns that a maniac lives here and he will try to kill the beauty. Common sense tells her to run and hide, but you can't run forever, so she realizes that she will have to fight against the psychopath and fight for her life. The mechanics of the game provide for free movement along the corridors and rooms. It is recommended to explore the territory, furniture, cabinets and dark corners to find useful items. The found things will be used to create traps. Some will be able to detain him, others will cause serious damage and there is even a chance to kill. So there are several ways: just find a way out using shelters and fast legs, or put an end to this nightmare. But the pursuer is not stupid, he is able to see poorly camouflaged systems, move shortcuts, has good physical strength and will gladly finish off any victim.

There are several radically different endings. The project has an interesting color scheme, which resembles the image quality of VHS cassettes for a video player. Along with this, animations and execution scenes are realized in detail, blood spurts like a fountain, limbs are torn off, sounds are frightening, and the music makes you nervous and panic. There is a constant feeling that salvation will come with the sunrise, but this will not happen, you will have to go to the end.
